I visited the Hammam, a large dimly lit white marble room heated to perfection. I can still smell the powerful fragrance of eucalyptus oil in the air. It is a traditional ritual in Morocco to have treatments here. The body is douced with pitchers of hot water, scrubbed to perfection, and then covered with a very aromatic blend of oils and seaweed. After a few minutes of laying on a marble table in the damp heat, I was rinsed with an overhead rain shower, my hair was washed with the same delightfully smelling herbal formula, then douced and rinsed again. This experience was absolutely wonderful!
